Cheers to Fresh Salsa!

Yea I know its been awhile since I have posted and I have been meaning to I promise. I mentioned before in a previous post about bountiful baskets. It is wonderful and you should check it out to see if you have it in your area! The link again is... I got a whole bunch of tomatoes in our basket and Braed and I don't like to eat them, so I made some delicious salsa! It is sure good to eat on a hot summer day! More posts to come, I just wanted to share this recipe!

Fresh California Salsa

4 Lrg tomatoes, diced

1/2 Lrg onion, minced

3 cloves garlic, minced

2/3 cup chopped fresh cilantro (I put way more than that cause I LOVE cilantro)

1 jalapeno pepper, seeded and minced

2 tablespoons fresh lime juice

salt and pepper to taste

Mix all together and add salt and pepper to taste! If you don't like chunky salsa like us, put half your tomatoes and all onion, garlic, jalapeno and cilantro into a food processor to chop it up a little more. Then put into a bowl and add the rest of your tomatoes and lime juice and it makes a perfect blend!
